Anyone know what this fits? or even if it's phono related?

I think there would have to be more information about it to make a decision on what it goes to. However, from what I see, I can speculate this:

At first glance, it doesn't appear to be a phonograph governor, since there is no friction disc, nor any obvious means to adjust speed. Also, instead of having the weights on springs, the weights are attached to links which pull one end into a spring (Probably gives the same result as each weight being mounted to a spring). That would not be a very common design of phonograph governors.

It does appear to be a fly weight apparatus of some kind, perhaps for gyroscopic application.

Thank you. I didn't think it was phonograph related but it recently sold on Ebay with some phono items and I just wondered as it didn't look like any phonograph govenor I have ever seen.
