Identifing cylinders

Is there a video or web site that shows how to identify different makes and models of cylinders. Columbia, oxford, and others by looking at the cylinder. Edison's are no problem because Thomas is on all of them but others I am not sure about.
Thanks Tom B

Here's another one which also shows color variations and the basic reproducers:

Scroll about half-way down to get to the cylinder section. :)

Thanks George. I have a lot of cylinders and never really checked into what I have. I have a lot of records that will become a rainy (if it ever rains here) day project. Tom B

Just a friendly warning: this link may introduce malware into your computer. I and at least one other person had notices from our anti-malware software that something bad was detected from that tripod site and was blocked by our software. If you visited that site and do not have anti-malware installed, I'd respectfully suggest that you run such a program.

If you don't have an anti-malware program, I'd recommend malwarebytes.com. There's even a free version. :)

Best to all,
George P.

thanks George. The other site was nice too as it matched the needle to the correct cylinder. Tom B
