Just one of the hundreds off-brands made after Victor's patents started expiring in the late 1910s. (By 1922 there would more than 200 phonograph companies in the U.S alone.)

It really depends on the market for your off-brand and how desirable it is, also condition and your location is an important factor. Most none desirable off-brands sell under $300, most go from as low as $75, while a few can go almost for $400 in some cases from my experience. But if nobody around you is willing to buy it for market value it would take awhile to sell at a lower price.

Since yours does look really nice and runs I'd say full market price is $250.(Hope that helps, but other's my have a different view.)

Check out the article on off-brands, it'll give you some more information." http://www.antiquephono.org/brand-talki ... j-wakeman/ "

The most likely buyer for this is not a collector but someone who just wants an old phonograph in a pretty case.

Estott, that's how I got it and have enjoyed it for 30 years. Now it's time for a new home. Thanks.
