Looking for a plain but functional shaver that could be purchased and picked up at the Orlando Phono show in January 2017. Not looking for any rare model, just something basic. My experiments with cylinder recording are at a standstill without one.

Hi Sterling,
If you do not want to spend a lot of money, there's
always Craigslist.
Look for Ediphone or Dictaphone shavers.
So far, during the past 7 years or so, I have found
and purchased 3 Dictaphone shavers from Craigslist.
The most I ever paid for any of them was $50.
They all were in need of disassembly, cleaning, oiling.
Motor and electrical system on them usually needs
some maintenance. But that's all stuff which any
mechanically/electrically inclined person can do
themself.
Never know what may turn up. Check ebay too, although
I've not had much luck using that for shavers.
Craigslist seems to be the place where they pop up
most often.
Can't hurt to look.
Chuck

I checked UPS and USPS for shipping costs. Depending on your location and whether you want insurance, actual shipping is in the $20-30 range...
