I am in possesion of a family heirloom victrola cabinet which was gutted many years ago and used as a piece of furniture with blankets stored inside. I recently obtained a victrola with an identicle cabinet with the difference being that the turntable is electric powered. A 1927 life magazine ad that came with the phonograph has the exact same victrola, and advertises that it is new for that year, so I assume that it is a 1927 model. I would very much like to return the crank version cabinet to a working phonograph as I think it would be nice to have both the crank and the electric versions. I hope someone has the parts I'll need to accomplish this restoration. The numbers remaining in the cabinet are VV 4-40 150130. A reasonably priced movement or the parts to build a complete movement would be greatly appreciated. I am recently retired and look forward to undertaking this project.

Curtis- Where are you located? I think I have what you need... but not sure if I have all of it. Could you post a pic of what you do have? Is the motor board present, for example?
