Do you have a copy on your bookshelf gathering dust?

You probably know that these can be quite pricey. If you have a MAC or iPAD you may want to consider the electronic version. It has a lot of advantages, like many additional color pictures and is only $15.CMcPherson wrote:Do you have a copy on your bookshelf gathering dust?
I got mine new for $35 (in 2004). I'm a bit amazed at how much this particular book sells for now. I understand it's out of print, but is demand really that great? The downloadable version is probably the best way to go.billybob62 wrote:Amazon $197

Apparently thems that has ain't selling.
I paid $192 in December 2015.
The 1994 "Companion" is a greatly expanded and improved version of the 1978 original, benefitting from additional research and far more illustrations. As a result it commands a higher price than it's predecessor. After much searching on line I bought an unused copy from an American bookseller for less than the best price in the UK, even allowing for postage. Unfortunately I cannot remember the seller's name as it was some years ago.bruv wrote:How is this companion book different from the Edison Cylinder Phonographs by the same author?
