Victor Rigid Arm Elbow Repair #1

I had some extra time today and got to a project that has been on the back burner for awhile. I have some extra Victor Rigid Arm elbows that were a bit dented up and one had some major cracks. I made up some tools to get into the elbow so I could tap out the dents. They worked out great. Here are some before and after pictures of the first one. Things went pretty well so I took care of the other three. I will make separate posts for each one. Now the horns are very stable and at the correct angle using these elbows.

Thanks for the kind comment. I wanted to leave the original patina and not buff it out. I might buff the one out on the MS in the collection to match the beautiful job that John Duffy did the on the horn. Here is a picture of the tools I made to do this job and the MS with the all brass horn. I used a small plastic head hammer also.
