That's great looking Victrola. I especially like it because the case design is unique. It does not have the cookie cutter look like the earlier X, XI, XIV, XVI series. Can you imagine how the original owner felt when, after spending a substantial amount of money, the Credenza was introduced a short time later. You have a very nice machine. Jerry Blais

I agree with Jerry, a really interesting machine. I bet there are not many survivors of this model. Steve

That is true. I scoured the internet before I bought it and found only two other machines. One is owned by the Victor Victrola Page, and the other by an unnamed person on an appraisal site.

I think that when this was introduced upright machines were going out of fashion in favor of consoles- the VV-405 console version of this was a very good seller. When the Orthophonic line was introduced there were no uprights aside from the Consolette

I love the phonograph. Beautiful and unique. I must also confess that I love to see someone else use the Southernism y'all.
