I always seem to get the cylinders that need reamed out. The cylinders with a steel ring are the ones I have problems with making them fit. I sometimes can barely get them to go all the way on. Tom B

I'm not aware that the wooden cylinder reamers are meant for anything but the plaster-core Blue Amberols.

The cylinders with the steel rings are, of course,Indestructibles.I've had some with swollen cardboard cores and I've reamed them.edisonplayer

I have reamed out Indestructible cylinders with a standard reamer. Like the Blue Amberols, you have to ream them very gently in small amounts. They take longer than the Blue Amberols. It's trial and error, but can be done.
