Was doing some research and came across this phonograph from across the pond. You can hear music and heat your house. I can not believe it is portable... as per writing, Anyone seen there local gas main in the park. Tom B

It burns me up that one has never actually been seen.. Perhaps the combination of hot music and flames caused them to self destruct.

As far as the Flameophone phonograph goes, it was a new kitchen gadget at the time, where you could cook a rotisserie chicken and listen to your favorite music. The same will be said in the future about refrigerators with video monitors on the door and wifi internet...

Can that develop a refrigerator with a crank phonograph in it??? You Just get home from work, pop a cool one, and crank up some tunes. The wife can pick the color of the refrigerator so it will be a win win

No, but there was a company that marketed a refrigerator/freezer with a radio built in. They're very rare now because the radios worked long after the freezers died!

A not unfavorable review!
The most interesting part to me was that the maker also sold an attachment which could be fitted to "any" gramophone
