I called this morning at 9:45 and a woman answered and I was told in a terse voice that the place didn't open till 10am. I then called back about 10:06 again and by that time a couple of other people had called so the man who answered wrote down my name and number. I called back again 15 minutes after that and the woman I spoke to earlier told me it was sold. It's possible someone like Rick Shindle who doesn't live too far away could have been there at opening. If the person who bought it wants a quality repair, I specialize in US phonograph reproducer restoration.

I talked to that same woman and previously a guy at 10 AM. They both said they were too busy to look for it and would call me back... That didn't happen, so I called back and was told that it had already been sold... That woman needs to get a life...

They might have pulled it because of the flood of interest and notified the owner to increase the price. That is a possibility.
