Disc Graphophone?!

Why would anyone taking the trouble to do a major restoration go so wrong on the decal?

That crank appears to be from a disc machine as well.

He has done a nice job of refinishing the case. I really like the color! My guess is that he is not a Phonograph collector, hence the error on choice of decal. He may have just focused in on the word "Graphophone" and not paid much attention to the word "Disc".

I didn't even look at it so closely when I saw it yesterday. But that's really funny, wrap 'em round the mandrel! :lol:
