Orlando Visit

I stopped by the Orlando show for a few hours this morning. Per the ticket desk, attendance was middling--not the lowest and not the highest. Some of the dealers I talked to said business had been slow. There were some nice floor model machines, and other things, that would have liked to follow me home, but I had to pass them by. No room at the inn.

Last year I bought part of a cache of nice green label Zone-O-Phone 10" inch records from Ron Herring, which he had found inside a record cabinet he bought some time back. (Apologies Ron if I misspelled your last name.) He still had the last 13 and I bought those this time, including #293, "Life's Dream is O'er," a duet by Corinne Morgan and J.F. Harrison. Miss Morgan's name had been carefully scratched off of the label so as to confine the damage to that. I wonder what the story was there.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. It would have been nice to be there. I am planning on going to the Union Show. Did anyone else have any adventures to share about the Orlando Show?
