I am curious about this tag attached to what looks like a typical Victor VV-IV. Is this just an indication that it was for the Canadian market? Whats the story? I know a little about Berliner and his story.

I do not think those tags go together. I think it may have come off of a horned phonograph. The tag seems a little out of level unless is the angel. Tom B

The tags go together - - it's typical of later Canadian markings.

I have gotten many machines from Canada, and anything Victor has had that Berliner tag as well.

:) I have a vv-vi, 1917 and it has the same Berliner ID plate as you show, in the same location. I am in Canada. :)

I also had a Victor VV-IV with the Berliner tag that I sold at the Wayne NJ Show last year.

I also have a 1918 VV-VI with the same combination of tags (see below). At the bottom of the cabinet the machine has a Canadian Berliner sticker glued over part of the Victor sticker.
