G and T Concert question

Hi. can anyone help with this Concert soundbox ? My question is, is it genuine ? It is a G and T one (not Victor)but the back has USA stamped in it. is this normal ?

Hi,
Looks likes reproduction, because original one is mentioning "MADE IN USA" opposite the serial number, see attached image of original one.

I don't claim to be any kind of an expert on these, but I would NOT say that there are any reproduction items on your reproducer. Just my take on it.

Yes, still not sure..... repros tend to be about £200 and original anything up towards £1000 so even the price is no indicator .....

For a time Victor made the metal parts and shipped them to the UK where they were put into cabinets. The detailed documentation on that sort of thing is largely lost, but this may well be original.
