Phonograph Auction in PA in Machines

Hi!In the paper Antiques And Auction News I saw an auction of antique phonographs located in PA that'll be held this Saturday.It'll be held in Manheim,PA by the Hess Auction Group.Is anyone going to this?edisonplayer

Thinking about it. Looks like a bunch of common machines in iffy condition, so it might turn into a real disappointment for the seller, however a lot of the machines aren't photographed (supposed to be 170 or so) so who knows. I'm not really allowed to buy any big machines, but might be a good day out anyway.

This is a collection out of Freeland PA where I have purchased several machines, many are not complete, finishes have been removed, some are rough, many off brands but also some decent machines

I was thinking of making the drive up there mainly to check out the Victor XVIII. just a bit out
of my range.

Do you know what the prices were on the cylinders? The auctioneer said the here were about 700. I had a bid on them but was not the winner of any.

I honestly don't think there were that many, they were sold by the box lot, anywhere from $45-$95 a lot
