Try Naucks record auction-click on cartridge and stylus. They are not inexpensive but he has a lot of custom stylus's.

Thanks for the comments so far, but, still no 3.75mil Stylus available for the Diamond Discs.

http://www.esotericsound.com/CartStyli.htm go down to the Stanton 500.V3 its the fifth item on the list it has a 3.5 mil stylus try giving the company a call - Tel (630)-933-9801 its worth a try but its a tad pricey but I have used a standard 3 mil 78 stylus on my Amberola 30 for a quite a while now about 7 months and it hasn't failed me yet so if you don't want to spend $$$ you could try that.

I have the elliptical 3 mil from Esoteric Sound. Works good but I haven't noticed or measured had any real improvements over a conical stylus.
For 3.75 mil I usually buy a 95 µm (95µm ± 5% (≈ 90-100 µm)) sapphire Shure stylus from
Cleorec and transplant a part of the cantilever onto a Stanton one. Just requires some epoxy and patience and can be had for not more than $60 in total. Plays better with most electric Victor records than a 3 mil.

I don't want to fly in the face of what has already be said but after fooling around with both the Stanton 500 V-3 and a Shure M44-7 I am using a ! mill stylus in My Rek-O-Kut to play Diamond Discs. I found the audio quality to be as good with a much lower noise level when I use that size stylus. I track between 2.5-3 grams. 2.5 with the Stanton but the Shure seems to like 3 grams better. The 3.5 or size stylus will work but much less noise with 1 mil.

Abe- I've found the same thing... I'm using a Pickering on a Dual 1009 with just an LP stylus and it sounds better than a 3 mil 78 stylus to me!

I have been using LP styli with diamond discs for about 15 years, especially with those in particular good condition. I recall to have mentioned that several years ago but no one seemed to bother then.
