I have heard the Leo Reisman version of this song, it sounds great. But what do you all think about the Julian Fuhs version?
I think this would be a awesome title for release on a new 4 minute resin cylinder. I still think the Reisman version is best and more lively.

I have all the versions we're talking about but the Fuhs one is new to me- I like it!

My favorite version of this song has always been the one by Fred "Sugar" Hall's great band with sidekick Arthur Fields released on Gennett New Electrobeam 7148 as "Tin Pan Paraders" and Champion 15934 as "Bud Carson and his Orchestra". The Champion release is my drug of choice, because you get the equally hot and fun "Harmonica Harry" on the flip side of the Champion.

I'll see if I can find it on Youtube.

Incidentally, Hall and Paul Specht are two prolific bands of the era that are almost always overlooked in any "serious" jazz discussions and I'm not really sure why that should be.

My favorite of the versions posted here is the Reisman recording.

But, I can't resist saying that my all time favorite version of this song is in the movie "Young Frankenstein". It is hilarious and makes me laugh everytime I see it.
