You meant Triumph D2, but we knew what you meant.

(We will now collectively cover our eyes while you swiftly edit the original post, and subject line!)

Are phonographs usually listed in the vintage electronics section? I guess I haven't paid enough attention to the categories on that site.

My biggest fear would be winning it only to receive a parcel that sounded like a bag corn flakes and metal washers inside when it arrived. Has anyone had experience with GW shipping valuable items?

I've purchased many items, including phonographs, from the different Goodwill outlets on this auction site and have had no issues with packing. They seem to have unlimited supplies of bubble wrap and tape. The southern California stores have always been really good. I've had a couple instances from stores in the Midwest (Ohio) that sent me the wrong items, but they always made it right. One time, I bought a really nice phonograph and they sent me a typewriter. They fixed it by sending the phono I bought and told me to just re-donate the typewriter to a local Goodwill, which I did. Another time, got a package that I did not order (again from a store in the Midwest) so they sent me a mailing label and I mailed it back.

I've purchased a lot of records, 78s, from ShopGoodwill and the packaging has consistently been good. Only 1 broken record out of the 25 or so purchases.

I would feel comfortable bidding on this.

Recently, an Edison Idelia was purchased from ShopGoodwill. How did that fare?
