New 720p Pictures (And A Grievance)

I'm just pointlessly ranting here, but I find it odd that my post about my VV-360 is the only post directly addressing a VV-360. All others have just used it for reference as a sister model to the 350 and 370.
Anyways, I'll show you some pictures I took lately while playing a Brunswick record B-side, titled "Malani Anu Ka Makani", which translates to "Cool Breeze".

So is this post about the record, a 360 playing the record, or your machine? ... if the last, some photos that show the actual phonograph would be great.

I was referring to my first post about the VV-360 machine itself, which is here

This would look very nice, framed and hanging on the wall, next to your VV-360 --

Have to agree with Brian. Looks like a very nice example of a very rare machine. Would be nice to see more than one low resolution image (from prior post) of the whole machine. Last four images appreciated-but very nice images of 'a few trees' which don't really allow you to see 'the forest'.

On a related issue--You Tube has many disappointing videos of interesting and beautiful machines playing records which do not show the machine well. Includes many videos devoted to a monotonous zoomed-in shot of the spinning record without seeing the machine. Or other videos which move around showing pieces of the machine without adequately showing the whole machine (can't see the forest from the trees). When the whole machine is shown, the (6 foot tall) videographer often provides a drone-like view from the air. I have even seen videos posted intending to sell machines and how they play--video spends 5-10 seconds showing the machine and then the remaining 2-3 minutes zoomed into the black hole of the horn! Of course, YouTube is a vehicle for amateur videographers and better getting some images rather than none. But in many cases, getting good images is simply a matter of applying common sense.

Maybe you could do a 'Featured Phonograph' post for the archive section?
I'm not sure what the grievance is, it's a nice machine, haven't seen anything negative about it.

Yup, the main reason for not so many references here to the '360 is that probably you're the only one of us that has one. They didn't make them for very long, they didn't make too many of them, and they were immediately followed and heavily overshadowed in the public mind by models with vastly more popular appeal due to a quantum leap in performance - the orthophonics.
So nobody here is slighting the '360, at least not intentionally. Yeah, why not take some glamor shots and post them with a write-up as a Featured Phonograph?

That's great looking Victrola. I especially like it because the case design is unique. It does not have the cookie cutter look like the earlier X, XI, XIV, XVI series. Can you imagine how the original owner felt when, after spending a substantial amount of money, the Credenza was introduced a short time later. You have a very nice machine. Jerry Blais
The above is my post to your original thread. I like your machine and I bet you are the only Forum member with a VV-360 (or one of a very few). If I didn't sound envious enough, here is a

so show how envious I feel

. Your VV-360 is well worth owning and one that makes any collection more interesting. Jerry Blais

I've seen this before, and I must say it is one of the things I would most like around my house (other than another Victor or a record lathe). If you look at my personal statement my profile picture, you'll see the header from the advertisement.
