Did these come with Victor Talking Machines ?

I think this may have been discussed here before (?) - did these come with Victor machines or did the dealers sell these? Says Victor on the box lid in faded gold. Hard to believe this one survived since it is only made out of cardboard

I have a few of those as well. As far as I know, these did come with Victrolas in the late teens / early twenties. There are also similar boxes with three compartments for Regular, Half-Tone and Fiber Needles.

I would have said they were sold by Victor dealers.
To be used with those machines without needle cups.

The VV-50 portable came with one of these.
