Is this a rare Edison DD sleeve?

It's very interesting, but I don't think it's an Edison product given that there is a store name and address on the bottom of the sleeve. I would imagine that Edison or a close affiliate produced the artwork, but that's just speculation.

I don't think this is a sleeve, just the remnants of a bag/envelope the store put your records in once they were purchased. These envelopes usually had a fold-down flap and two, small, round "buttons" affixed (one on the flap, the other on the body of the bag). A string, attached at the base of one of the buttons, was wrapped around the other button to keep the envelope shut.
