Well, it's taken me years to finally land a CLEAN copy of Edison 52559, "Kansas City Kitty", I think this is the BEST Murray record ever. Recorded in July 1929.
Enjoy, sorry it's a bit rumbly, I haven't got a rumble filter...

And the flip "She's Got Great Ideas"

Enjoy!

These are two great Billy Murray records recorded in an era, style, and recording medium (i.e., electric) that one does not readily associate with Murray. Thanks for posting these gems, Sean!

Isn't it great when a long sought after record finally finds it place on your shelf!
Thanks for sharing, great tunes, worth waiting for I must say!

I first heard this disc on a seven inch LP put out by McGraw-Edison with Ted Lewis doing some commentary. I was 11 years old when I got that, as soon as I heard "Kansas City Kitty" I knew I had to have the disc. Only took me 25 years to finally get one!
