Okay. Started listing my Dad's Diamond Discs. I came across an unusual one. It is an engraved label, (what one individual describes as the "type A").
One side is 50701-R Sweet Luana (J.S. Zamecnik) Soprano and Contralto with Hawaiian Guitar accompaniment Gladys Rice and Elizabeth Lennox 7482.
The other side is 50369-L Medley of Hawaiian Airs-No 2 Louise and Ferera Hawaiian Guitar 4601

Online, I found several 50701's and they all have the "L" side as: 50701-L Beautiful Hawaii Waltz (Mary Earl) Waikiki Hawaiian Orchestra 7245

These were Paper Labels

Also online, I found several 50369's their "R" side was: 50369-R On The Beach Medley Waikiki Hawaiian Orchestra 4775
These all were the engraved "type B" label.

When I listened to the record of my Dad's collection, side "R" was Sweet Luana and side "L" seemed to be as advertised, Medley of Hawaiian Airs since "Mary Earl" was not singing and there was no Orchestra (Hawaiian or otherwise) just the guitars.

So. Has anyone else come across any "engraved" labeled records that have two different catalog numbers and the recording that coincides with said number?

Sounds like a factory goof. I have one or two like that. I also have an unlabeled DD with two different songs that were never issued together on a serial DD. One of the songs I think is "There's a trick in pickin' a chick, chick, chicken".
