I know that this system was used on certain Grafonolas since the mid-teens; but other than that...

The cabinet has a British look to it (to my eyes) maybe Columbia shipped the mechanisms over, and this one found its way back here.

Pooley made cabinets with a similar mechanism without the buttons. Very clumsy to use.

A handsome cabinet. As has been mentioned Columbia used the same, or very similar, record ejection system on some of its models.
