Lotsa luck! I've had my Standard Model D with C & H reproducers & cygnet horn on this forum since 4/6/17 and haven't had a single inquiry of any kind. And after 633 views, asking $350 less than what I paid for the Standard 2 years ago. I may not be doing something right, but if so no other collectors have bothered to off any advice, gentle or otherwise. Maybe the market is soft right now?

Yes, unfortunately the market is soft. These are common machines. Most collectors have a Standard Model B. The market to shoot for, is for a new collector. A trade in an antique store might help. If the machine runs good, and a couple of cylinders, that could be a trade. I had a Model B Standard 2/4 min. and it was nice. I couldn't sell it for beans. The antique dealer ad a very nice Victorian banquet lamp in great condition, they couldn't sell. It was an even trade. I'm sure the antique dealer had some awful high price on it.

"market is soft".....
More like: "Market is undergoing a correction"
It's a simple case of supply and demand.
