I have for sale this mahogany Queen Ann Victrola XIV with an excellent original finish. Serial number 2587. It is in remarkable condition with only a few very minor scuffs and bruises, which barely show. It has a strong three spring motor. The gold plating on all the pieces is very nice. The reproducer has been rebuilt and the machine sounds nice. The original felt on the turntable is very nice. This model with the taller ornate legs also has the handy record pull out shelf. It has the proper metal roller casters on the legs. About the biggest flaw I can find is the paper strip below the record slat area is numbered 1-20, and the paper is missing from 1-4. I've been collecting for 25 years and it is very unusual to find an interesting machine in this condition. I would honestly describe it as Excellent condition. It includes a nice gold plated V key, the original leather record index book, and the black leather case for the reproducer. The price is $700. SOLD The machine is located in Nashville for pick up or (if prepaid) I may be able to transport it to the Union, IL phonograph show next month. The only reason I am selling this is because I have located the same machine in oak. If interested, please send me a private message through the forum. Thanks for looking. D.Edwards
