From the listing:
The Edison Phonograph is for local pick up at our “brick and mortal” Cincinnati antique store
Brick and
mortal? Now that's funny!!

Here's another good one... an H-19 with the legs cut off. $550 reflects the "imperfection"...

Years ago I restored an H-19 that wasn't "butchered" and could never get rid of it. It is arguably the homeliest machine Edison ever produced...

$4295.00. Gee, couldn't he think of a bigger number than that? Another example of "small thinking".

He says "All parts present", but isn't the reproducer missing, or have I misread something?

It also has a badly cut, incorrectly coloured, homemade turntable felt. Furthermore, I bet the description of the diamond disc machine was copied of an archival website.

It's there, but detached.
You have to click the "scroll sideways" arrow on the right to see it.
Interestingly, an Edison DD "Laboratory Model" in a very distressed (alligatored) mahogany finish sold for about $4,000.00 at one of the San Francisco juntique shops I frequent about eight months ago. For some parts of the country, the price is not too out of line.

What is the difference between a C-19 and a C-250?
