Chinese Project Machine. Start To Finish

The girlfriend has always wanted a Chinese Victrola. They don't come available often and when they do I was always either too late to the party, or the wallet told me NO!
So when I was at an auction earlier in the month, We saw a Chinese painted Brunswich amongst a bunch of parts machines. It was dirty, moldy in parts and in a dimly lit area. I hovered close and when the auctioneer got to it I started the bid. Only 1 other person was bidding against me but I did get the final bid.
At the end of the auction I was moving it to load it into my truck when we got a better look at it. Good graphics and only surface issues. All superficial. The machine cranked, played and was quiet. No other issues. It was so dull other didn't know what it was. I had 2 people make me offers before it was loaded. One offer was 4 times what I paid.
It came home and the girlfriend went to work. Gojo, Kotten Klenser and old fashion elbow grease. The girlfriend is very happy with the find and how it turned out. She says we got a steal.
I only collect Victor's so this will be a one off but it will look nice on display.
Here are some pictures before and after. I have to admit I am pretty impressed with it myself. Now I only have to find the correct grill to make it complete.
