Did all original end caps have the following information on them?

Every original Victor wood horn end cap I have seen has the patent information stamp. John

We have two larger oak spear point horns that do not have any patent information stamped into the metal end piece. They are obviously original. It appears some did not have the stamping.

Here are views of one of our Victor spear point horns. This one came with our Monarch. Each view is approximately one third of a rotation.

We have four of this kind of horn, two have the patent data stamped on them.
