I will leave it to the Victor experts to comment on this machine, but one thing I do know. If Nipper is listening to his MATER's voice, this must have been the first recording by a dog :lol: :lol: :lol: .

It's definitely not a VV-IX like it says on the tag. Otherwise it actually looks quite interesting. Not sure what the make and model is, maybe a combination of parts? The motor board seems to be a later replacement made from a different type of wood. But maybe that's just the bottom of it and it always was this way? Who knows. Back bracket, tonearm and horn look very much like Victor/HMV, but could be another European maker as well? Doesn't look bad though.

it's an Indian Repro , made with the Victor badge , the bottom drawer is the give away together with the moulding , the horn may be original the rest is not 1
