Here is a picture of Curts labels installed. They look very nice, for all that need to replace the old chipped labels. I used orange shellac to put it on.

Sure looks nice. I'm hard pressed to tell it from an original.
Great job Curt.

Just curious...

It seems that the below Original has more of a ¼ inch blank border space on the top and the bottom...

Curt, Was it hard to provide some extra space on the top and the bottom? Or was this an issue...? Otherwise, It looks really good. The absence of some space on the top and the bottom gives it the slight appearance of being "crammed"..

Just an observation..

The paper size is the original size. Since the original font is set in an unknown point size, the new labels are set in the closest available font & size, which takes up a bit more space... The labels could be made larger than original to leave the space, but size seems to be more important in my opinion. Also, since the original labels were just printed in whatever size, I expect the paper could have been cut to various sizes on different machines... who knows... Even with a side to side comparison, I doubt the differences wouldn't matter, besides where else can you get a replacement if yours is messed up or missing?

Yeah Curt, Just looking back at it again, I think that it would be better in my opinion to cut the paper a bit longer and leave some space on the top and on the bottom on the next run of them.. It would look much better and would not be much longer..

Yes, Size is always a consideration, but so is the overall look of the item. I think a balance between the two is the overall best answer here. ..and there is more than enough room to work with underneath the phonograph lid.

I think the final answer on this one is to make the length of the paper cuts at both ends a bit longer.. To make it look "Right".. The Original actually looks like it has a bit more space at the top then at the bottom if you look. Another observation..
