I need some slightly rounded beveled slot headed brass screws for the piano type lid hinge on my Victrola 4-3, the Consolette. The length is ½ inch and the diameter of the head looks to be ⅜ inch. Is this a standard or universal size? Any ideas?

Here is a link to those slotted oval headed brass screws at Bolt Depot. You'll just need to know the diameter, in addition to the length. They have a size matching chart in their resources page to help.
