FOR SALE: COLUMBIA TREADLE SHAVER-Dr. Z COLLECTION - $6,000
Posted: Wed Jun 14, 2017 3:54 pm
As previously mentioned, we are trying to close out the Dr. Z collection and will begin offering the remaining items at special, reduced prices.
This is item #Z-7, an extremely rare Columbia Treadle shaver. Appears to be in excellent, original condition. One person a while back said that the lid is not original; I have no way of knowing for sure. It seems to be fully functional. It is currently packed away in storage and no other pictures are available other than the ones shown.
Dr. Z paid over $12,000 for this machine. It was one of the prizes of his collection. The price is $6,000 (firm), as that is the price I have guaranteed the estate and I will simply add it to my collection if it doesn't sell.
Terms: PayPal (Friends & Family), check or cash. I will ship, if necessary, but the costs will be determined after this is paid for and I can research the alternatives. I am currently a bit incapacitated with a bum knee, but am able to get around at a reduced operating speed. My normal method would be to crate it and send by R&L Carriers (truck freight) but there are other ways to ship as well. Delivery to Stanton in November by Mike Patella is possible as well.
Please respond only by direct email, not PM.
thanks,
Raphael
