Amberola 30 Question

I have 2 Amberola 30s both of which have issues, but I can combine them into one complete machine. My question is about the screws used to attach the bedplate to the mounting brackets. The bedplate that I am not using has countersunk holes for oval head screws. The other bedplate, which I'm using, has plain holes which would appear to use a round head screw. Unfortunately no screws came with the machine which leaves me clueless. My question is: what type of finish should these screws have?. As I see it, they could be either blued, black enameled or nickel plated. The oval head screws on the other machine appear to have been blued, so it may be the same for these. At any rate,I would rather use the correct finish if someone can tell me what it is.
Thanks,
Jim

You are in luck, since I am currently restoring an early 30 with the brass reproducer... The bedplate is countersunk and the bolts are oval head with square nuts and blued...

Thanks, Curt, but what I am really asking (perhaps I should have stated the question differently) is how the round head non-countersunk bolts on the later machine should be finished. I am leaning toward bluing them, but I need to try to find some unplated steel ones if I do that.
BTW: I hope yours runs as quietly as this one does when you are done with it. I've never had such a silent running machine.

Sorry, I re-read your original inquiry and obviously missed the round head screw question... I can't say for sure, but if it were mine, I would blue them...
