Have anotherquestion....I was in an antique store a few months ago, and ran across a Brunswick phonograph. Lady didn't know if it worked, but appeared complete, except for the screen (?) in front of the "speaker" area. She wanted $50 fir it. Cabinet was nice, and everything moved freely. Good deal?

$50 is the maximum for that machine without the grillework- it is one of their less expensive plain models. If there is any sign of cracking in the metal parts I'd pass it up.
