This is a single-sided resin copy, which is compatible with wind-ups using steel needles (up to 80*F). It's a perfect copy from an original in VG condition.

THIS BATCH IS SOLD OUT!. $20 each plus $5 shipping in the USA.

I'll take the other...

Don,

Sorry I had to back out, I'm sure it will find a good home. The friend who wanted one didn't want to commit at this time, so I don't need two...

By the way, The Charleston record is great and it plays loud and clear... keep up the excellent work.

This is so interesting! When I heard your amazing reproduction on your YouTube video just now, it sounded like the same version I have on Pathé by the Texas Ten. I then played mine and it is indeed the same matrix. What a funny coincidence!
I recall that sone matrices were released on different labels under different pseudonyms and this is a great example.

This is a great service you are providing--and if you are able to make any copies of Caruso's Zonofonos or some of his better G&T recordings, I''ll put my order in! Oh--and while your at it, throw in a few acoustic Paramount blues titles also :D

Pathé owned Perfect, so it makes sense. The Silvertone copy sounds the same too, but I'm not sure if its the same pressing or just the same band under a different name.

I don't yet have any Zonophone Caruso's but I do have a bunch of other early Zonophones listed in another post. If you know where I may be able to borrow some, I'd love to add them to the "library".

Hi Donnie,

The Caruso zonofono discs are very rare and expensive--I have one "Un bacio ancora" but I'd be too afraid to mail it out lol.
But it would be so much fun to hear the sound of such rare records on my Victor IV without having to subject these precious originals to steel needles. Perhaps there is a collector within reach of your area?

Again, great work!

Steve
