Edison Home; does 50% equal half?

I picked up an Edison Home cabinet, in pieces, but complete. After gluing it back together and refinishing (it was already stripped), I'll have just the wooden cabinet of an Edison Home, no lid. This is a common little cylinder machine which originally had 2/4 minute speed and the single "Edison" decal, which you can barely see the remnants of on the case. So... I need a bedplate, reproducer, motor.... everything metal!
Does anybody have the unrestored workings of this machine for sale? Who thinks it's worth putting together a machine from just a broken empty stripped wooden cabinet (besides the guy selling me the parts!)?
