Still some "WOW" in VV 2-55 Portable Victrola motor

I have a good sounding VV-2-55 Orthophonic Victrola, portable. I have opened her up and greased all the teeth of the gears and oiled all of the points that are suggested. I cleaned the brass governor plate where the friction leather meets. I oiled the leather. The three counter weights seem tightly secured. There is quite a lot of leather left in the governor, but I have the speed adjuster lever all the way to the "F" setting to get it to the proper speed. I still hear a slight "WOW" when I play certain records. If it is a lively jazzy tune it sounds good. Any slow ballad type of song I hear a slight "WOW." Any suggestions?

That could be a lot of things to slow it down. A dirty spring that the grease has solidified on it, A out of balance or incorrect governor, The spindle shaft may be binding or need lubed.. Look and see if any of the gears are touching or binding. Tom B
