Hah, good job David.

The first "Pathé" I typed was with a capital "P", the second was with a lowercase "p".

The board automatically capitalizes the word and adds the accent (l'accent aigu) on the e / é.

Yeah, I thought that’s really the only good use of the ‘word censoring’ feature, and since most of our membership can’t easily type accented characters, I thought it might be nice to have ‘Pathé’ automatically converted. (I am rather spoiled with the ease of typing characters not found on an American English keyboard on both Mac OS X and my iPhone.) It will also convert ‘Pathés’ and ‘Frères’, as well as the fractions supported by Unicode (½, ⅓, ¼, ⅕, ⅙, ⅛, ⅔, ⅖, ¾, ⅗, ⅜, ⅘, ⅚, ⅝ and ⅞). I was thinking about adding common typos, also, but haven’t added any other than ‘Edsion’ (bolded so it won’t convert it).

If anyone has any other additions they would like to see, please let me know.

Great feature, David! Please add a rule for Rüdesheim = Rüdesheim

Norman,

As you might notice from the (automatic) change to your post above, Rudesheim is now converted to Rüdesheim. :D

I’m sure that there are more things out there that would be nice to have added, so if anyone thinks of anything, please let me know.

OK, then I'll wade in with some Slovene - how are you on Ratice and Vrsic? :D

Not that I know of any phonographs there - but it's a lovely place!
