I picked up an incomplete Oxford front mount disc machine and wondered if anyone can show what it is supposed to look like. I did a search here for "oxford" and internet , but not anything yet Thanks

Can you post a picture of it? I don't know if I can't see it. Chances are it is a Columbia Product.

I can confirm that it is a Columbia product. I was able to find only one photograph of the said machine, and it is a poor angle. I hope this helps.

ROLAND, your oxford looks like my Harvard no. 1 I will have to go to the shop and look at the oxford. I know the support arm is wrong now though

A clarification: The machine pictured in my reply was not mine, and was found on a google search, labeled as an Oxford.

I believe these were marketed by Sears, Roebuck and Montgomery-Ward. One used the "Oxford" brand, and the other the "Harvard" - I cannot remember which was which.

That was my machine, and yes, it is indeed an Oxford.
