Gradually scaling down my collection of 7" Berliners and other interesting early records. This one is not perfect but I feel that it's worth my asking price of $50. Recorded on September 29, 1899 (almost 118 years ago as of this writing!), this is Berliner #0527, a piccolo solo by George Schweinfest, "La Lansonet Polka". The record has two tiny edge flakes, neither of which affect any playing grooves. There also is about a one inch very tight edge hairline. It's very stable, very tight, not a threat. There are plenty of light surface scratches and scuffs as with most Berliners.
