Can anyone identify this Victrola? I found it online, I'm just curious.

HMV model 157. 1927-1932. Not listed as a re-entrant, because the horn split into two, not four.

Not made by Victor, but the Gramophone Company in the UK.

These were nice mid-size models. The horn pumps out a strong mid-range with quite a bit of bass, and is comparable to the Victor VV-8-4, though brighter, and less directional because of its all-metal construction -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiQ0SnUfMn8

I wouldn't mind having one.

I have one... good sounding strong playing machine. Its size would make it a perfect machine for a space challenged collector.

Just for grins, here's a shot of mine in the full-open state.

I've always really liked that little machine. I always felt that was what the VV 4-3 should have been, instead of having the almost useless record storage they put way under the smaller horn in that model.
