Hello,
I had an email from a fellow who has an Edison model B Fireside with a broken spring. I have a spare Standard model D spring in barrel. Can anyone tell me if the Standard barrel will fit the Fireside? If not do they use the same spring?

I think the barrel may indeed be the same, but the bull gear is not. You will have to switch the bull gear over to the Standard spring barrel.
