Variations in Victrola keys, when they took place

At least some VTLA and XII Victrolas have wreath keys. I have an XII with the early cabinet and no key. Does anyone know when the change was made from the wreath key to the key with the V?
Thanks

If it's any help, my XII (No.2781) came with a wreath key.

Thanks George. Did your wreath key have vertical or horizontal grooves?

Thanks again George. That was what I needed to see. I am still curious when the change took place, but I guess that some details will remain in the past and are probably not really that important.
