If you've got the guts, they've got the cabinet. Very nice. Hope someone can save it!

Yes. If I remember correctly that was the amplifier with the two 50's.

If this had the electronics, I'd be all over it. I LOVE that cabinet design. Project machines are not for me, however. If anyone does want it and can arrange the purchase in advance, I would be happy to store it and bring it to Union. This is not far from me at all.

As much as I would like to have it, finding the amplifier is, well.... You have better odds of winning the lottery.... :)

I thought the 980 you had found years ago was missing the electronics. I agree it would be very unlikely to find all the individual components.

Maybe somebody should ask them if they were the ones to remove the electronics or know where they might be??? you never know what people will do.

Many years ago I visited a guy Toledo that had lots of Model T era speed equipment for sale. I went back to buy a race engine from him for the agreed upon price. When I returned, the engine was taken completely apart, with all its components scattered everywhere, and with a new and higher price. He later sold the lot for ½ of what we agreed upon. There were maybe 30 or 40 very interesting carburetors. They were screwed to the ceiling of his garage. You had to climb a tall ladder to even look at them. Anyway, just sayin'...
