Edison Triumph Governor Question(s)

I have not had a chance to see many Edison Triumph motors, but the only ones I've seen have governors with 4 weights, yet I see 3 weight governors being sold on Ebay as Triumph governors. Is there a significant difference in the governors on different Triumph models?

Please note, I've led a sheltered life, haven't actually had the opportunity to examine many Triumph motors.

Thanks!

According to the Frow book, the Triumph's Triton motor was modified for the Model D, with a 4-weight governor replacing the earlier 3-weight type.

They seem to have made the change sometime during production of the model D. I have a model D which has a three ball governor with a single control pad. Sometimes there just don't seem to be any rules to this game!
