I have a machine like this and I have some questions about it.
At the needle end of the arm is there any kind of rubber cushioning/damping, mine seems like one solid metal block. What is the length of the speed adjust screw? How does the machine disassemble? Is it riveted together?

Howard,
No, there is no cushioning block... The tonearm is solid and the reproducer is solid. The sound is transferred from the needle and is amplified by the "horn", which works like a large diaphragm. The horn is connected directly to the solid reproducer and is held in place by a protruding screw and fastened with a concave aluminum washer and knurled nut.

These are very interesting phonographs. I still hope to find a Brunswick version of it.

I have a Brunswick Parisian and interestingly enough, the Brunswick label is placed over a Polly label, so they are exactly the same machines just different labels.
