Edison company first started cutting electrical matrices in summer, 1927, the first going on sale on autumn of '27. The one You Tube vid of this sounds like it might be electrical, but it's hard to tell through the caterwauling of the acoustic machine it's being played on.

I am 99% certain, that Silver Moon (52011) is acoustic. The only YT video I could find was 52631, but Silv'ry Moon != Silver Moon.

No, acoustic. In the popular series, electric recording starts with 52089 (thus my board handle).

In my humble opinion, the late acoustic Diamond Discs sound almost as good as the electrics.

I have one acoustic record that would fool me as electric if I didn't know better. I don't have a catalog in front of me now, but I believe it is late 51000 series or pre-electric 52000 series. "Sweetness" is the title, if I recall.
