My motor needs to be degreased as the grease has hardened. Does anyone know a good technique to degrease a motor? What is a good grease to use for a motor?

There are dozens of posts on these topics already on the board, including one very recent discussion of how to degrease. Use the board's search feature for words like "degrease" or "remove grease", etc., and you'll find them easily enough.

Lacquer Thinner and toothbrush always works for me.
